What's the best way to care for Trickers shoes?

It’s important to show your Trickers the proper care and attention they need to keep them looking their best. Remove dirt and debris after each wear, especially when trekking through country land or wet terrain. Massage in leather conditioner to nourish the leather and prevent excessive drying followed by a quick buff of the uppers.

What is the Trickers Goodyear welt?

The Trickers Goodyear welt allows your footwear to be resoled upon significant wear. A hallmark of well-made, good-quality shoes. 

The outer sole is sewn to the welt, a cork layer is then applied between the insole and welt providing comfortable support and insulation for the foot. A leather mid-sole is then stitched over the cork filling and the outsole is stitched to the welt. 

A Goodyear welt provides greater comfort for the wearer as the cork layer moulds to the wearer's foot.

Are Trickers waterproof?

The Trickers Goodyear and storm welt provide a waterproof seal between the uppers and the sole of the shoe. As the shoe’s uppers are made with natural leather they are not waterproof. The shoe is not intended to be worn through bodies of water or puddles, etc.
