Saphir offers two main product lines: Saphir Beauté du Cuir and Saphir Médaille d’Or, each catering to different needs and audiences.

Saphir Beauté du Cuir is designed for general consumers and focuses on providing effective, affordable shoe care solutions. This range includes a variety of polishes, creams, sprays, and cleaners that are perfect for regular use. It incorporates a mix of natural and synthetic ingredients, making it a practical choice for everyday leather maintenance.

Saphir Médaille d’Or, on the other hand, is a premium line aimed at enthusiasts, professionals, and owners of luxury leather goods. It features high-quality creams, waxes, and cleaners formulated with natural ingredients like beeswax, carnauba wax, and turpentine. This range is specifically crafted to enhance, protect, and preserve high-end leather, making it ideal for those who value superior results and long-term care.

While Saphir Beauté du Cuir focuses on practicality and affordability, Médaille d’Or stands out for its premium quality and performance, catering to those with a passion for excellence in leather care.

I have over fifty pairs of up-market leather shoes. I condition, polish and wear them regularly. I mostly use Saphir products depending on leather type and spend 16 weeks/year going end to end through the rotation. In the past 30 years, I have only retired three pairs. My advice: the waxes and colours are almost identical from range to range. Only the Renovateur makes a real difference and should always be the starting point of every smooth leather shine.
